Combat stress with respiration
In many ways, we know what we should do to combat stress that appears in our lives and this plan both theoretically and practically.
Thus, physical movement is one of the essential weapons in fighting stress, followed by proper nutrition (lack of vitamins and minerals may be in close connection with the occurrence of stress symptoms) and overall, a way of life as healthy, based on consumption fruits, vegetables and milk, and at least seven hours of sleep every night.
This overlapping of positive effects will be far greater if you take a detailed: get used to practice abdominal breath, and not the chest one. Breathing with the chest, we have natural reflex of a pectoral muscle strain, which will lead to increased respiration rate and, consequently, to poor oxygenation to the brain.
On the opposite side, through the abdominal breath, whole body receives optimal intake of oxygen. We should take example from babies who have a reflex abdominal breathing, but as submitted in age, lose the habit.
Breathing is the only organic function that can perform at both consciously and unconscious. Therefore, when you have a few free minutes insolated you in your office, sit comfortably on the chair with eyes closed and practice abdominal breath.
Ideal would be if you could you imagine how the air enters in the lungs and revitalize the body. To achieve maximum effect, you need other incentives (tea, scented candles, essence of lavender). Course and they have their role, but in case we face more to improve effectiveness and less the case.
