Healthy eating tips for teens
Here are a few tips to encourage teenagers to eat healthy foods.
First of all, challenge your teens to start their day by eating a healthy and filling breakfast, because breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Teenagers need to drink plenty of water. Your teen’s body needs 6 glasses of water per day. Choose bottled water instead of buying canned sodas or other sweetened drinks.
Teens need more activity, so encourage your teen to start any form of exercise as it will help him/her become a healthier person.
Your teen must stay away from prepackaged snacks, because these contain lots of sugar, carbohydrates, fat and salt. Instead of these sweet and salty snacks, provide your teen with fresh fruit and vegetables.
As well, it’s very important to encourage your teen to eat in moderation.
